What is the longevity of the dogwood flower once it is not attached to the tree anymore?

I would like to use this flower for a wedding but am afraid if I use it for the centerpieces the day before the reception, they might die and look gross.

    They’d probably wither in less than half a day, even in a vase of water. I guess you could extend that somewhat by “misting” them some…but I don’t know if that’d work well.
